The North Pacolet Association (NPA) is Homeowners Association with 41 properties in both North and South Carolina. The development is more commonly known as Caroland Farms since that was and still is the core farming property in the neighborhood.
Caroland Farms, located in the gently rolling Piedmont edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains, commands sweeping panoramic views of the mountains to the north and west. Within the farms, the Pacolet River and its tributaries have defined the landscape with deep valleys, broad flood plains and ecologically rich wetlands that are in view of many of the country home sites. White and red oaks, willow oaks, sweetgums, beech and river birch dominate the natural wooded areas. These stands are complimented by evergreen plantations of loblolly with American holly and Virginia red ceders interspersed. Flowering dogwoods and southern magnolias provide seasonal delights to the eye. Native wildflowers are found along the roadsides and in less cultivated areas. Preservation and enhancement of the unique scenic and natural qualities of this landscape are major objectives of the NPA. The purpose and objectives of the NPA are to administer and manage the association such that all activities fall within the Land Use Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions that govern our neighborhood.
The NPA is a not for profit organization and operates for the benefit of its members.
